SEO Tutoring…

Today I’m going to do a little rant about SEO…. search engine optimization.

What is SEO?  It means trying the best you can and standing on your head, to get your website to rank higher on Google…. because Google is the key to success, and if you aren’t on Google, you are going nowhere.

Google has this magical little formula, that likes to mess with business owners, they use this magical way to decide who comes out on top…. and who doesn’t, and who looses their spot.  So we came out on top, RIGHT ON TOP for years… and then Google did an update to their formula and we fell hard, so now we are on a race to regain out top spot.

Let me tell you a thing about Google, they do a lot of great things… but they also do a lot of silly things… this right here, what I’m ranting about, is one of those silly things.  They decide how, when and why, your website will appear higher.  And of the main things they love is BLOGS… constantly updating blogs…. it tells them the website is ‘relevant’, so business owners everywhere are rushing to write blogs… about anything, just to get “fresh” content up, no matter how silly, or ridiculous it is.

So here we are, a top ranked 1 on 1, in home tutoring company, ranting on and on, about nothing, just to create a fresh blog entry, to tell Google, we are AWESOME!!! Rank Us.

So every day we will put a blog up, some days about education, some days about tutoring, some days about the industry, some days about random rants, some days about kids, some days about useful information, some days about all the fun things math tutor can do, math tutors in Oakville, math tutors in Burlington, math tutors in Mississauga, all those fun math tutors who do 1 on 1 in home tutoring… we will write about all those fun things on this blog… and it will just be nonsense… to get Google to like us more.
